Reiki Distance Healing Circle

A weekly space to receive, without having to do anything at all.

Distance Reiki works on the premise that energy isn't bound by the same rules as bodies — it can reach you wherever you are.

Each Thursday evening, join a small group session where Reiki is sent collectively, live, over Zoom. You don't need experience with Reiki, meditation, or energy work. You just need to show up, get comfortable, and let your nervous system do what it already knows how to do when it isn't being asked to perform.

This is not a class. There's no instruction to follow and nothing to get "right." Come as you are — tired, skeptical, curious, depleted, all of it welcome.

What to expect:

  • A brief grounding at the start

  • 30–40 minutes of distance Reiki, sent to the group

  • A few minutes to land afterward before we close

What you'll need: A quiet space, something to lie down or sit comfortably in, and a Zoom link (sent after registration).

The Open Door

Bring your questions about burnout, bodywork, or getting back into your body.

An informal, unscripted hour to ask what you've been sitting with — about nervous system regulation, aromatherapy, massage, Reiki, or just what it looks like to feel human again after running on empty for a long time.

No slides, no curriculum, no pitch. Just space to ask real questions and get direct answers from someone who's spent years studying this clinically and practicing it hands-on.

Come with a specific question, or just come to listen.

Good to bring:

  • A question about your own burnout, stress patterns, or recovery

  • Curiosity about massage, Reiki, or aromatherapy as part of a bigger picture

  • Nothing at all — lurking is fine.

Scents & Sensibility: An Introduction to Essential Oils

Scents & Sensibility: An Introduction to Essential Oils

Learn what essential oils really are, how to judge quality and safety, and explore four oils in depth.

Most people meet essential oils through marketing — you know lavender is "calming" and peppermint is "energizing" because a label told you so. This class is much deeper than that. You'll learn what essential oils actually are (and what they're not), how to spot the real thing versus a convincing imitation, and how to read a bottle like an investigator instead of a shopper. Then we go deep on four oils — lavender, orange, peppermint, and frankincense — exploring their botany, their traditional healing uses, and how bodyworkers and energy practitioners actually reach for them in practice.

By the end, you'll smell a bottle you've had in your cabinet for years and understand it for the first time.

In this class, you'll:

  • Learn the real differences between essential oils, fragrance oils, absolutes, and conventional perfume

  • Get a practical framework for judging quality and sourcing — no "therapeutic grade" marketing myths

  • Understand core safety principles: dilution, photosensitivity, sensitization, and safety for children, pregnancy, and pets

  • Go in depth on four foundational oils — lavender, orange, peppermint, frankincense — through both a healing lens and a perfumery lens

  • Learn why Latin names, plant part, and chemotype change what's actually in the bottle

This class is for: anyone curious about essential oils, and especially useful for bodyworkers, massage therapists, and energy practitioners who want to bring aromatherapy into their practice with real understanding, not just intuition.

Class note: We will be smelling essential oils during this class. Please don't wear perfume or cologne.

About the instructor: Valentina Fomenko is a licensed massage therapist, NAHA-certified aromatherapist, and Reiki practitioner, and the founder of Terra Vitae, a Florida-based aromatherapy and bodywork practice. She holds a PhD in Environmental Science, and formulates every Terra Vitae product by hand.

Many Paths, One Light - A Reiki Experience across Five Traditions

In partnership with Amen Nasrawy — Amen Nas Ka Healing (ANKH).

Two practitioners, five lineages, one shared source. An evening of conversation and hands-on Reiki — open to everyone, no experience needed.

Reiki isn't one thing. It arrived in the world through Mikao Usui in early twentieth-century Japan, and from that root it has branched — through Japanese teachers who kept it spare and meditative, through Western hands that systematized it, and through practitioners who brought in older currents still — the energetic philosophy of Kemetic Egypt and other ancient healing streams.

Most people meet Reiki through a single lineage and assume that's the whole picture. This evening is a chance to see more of it. We're two practitioners carrying different currents. Between us: Usui Reiki, Ra Sekhi, Kemetic practice, Komyo Reiki, and Cosmic Light. Different symbols, different histories, different hand positions, different ideas about what the practitioner is even doing. And underneath all of it, the same source.

We'll spend the first part of the evening talking — what Reiki actually is, where these traditions came from, how they diverge, and what each of us has found in our own path. Not a lecture. More like being let in on a conversation between two people who love this work and come at it from different doors.

Then we'll practice. Not as separate stations or competing styles, but together — offering hands-on Reiki as a shared field, with everyone welcome to receive. You'll stay fully clothed. You can sit or lie down. If you'd rather not be touched, hands-off Reiki above the body is always an option. It's usually quiet, sometimes warm, occasionally surprising, and never anything you have to prepare for.

Come if you're curious. Come if you've never been touched by this work and want to know what people mean when they talk about it. Come if you're a practitioner yourself and want to sit with lineages other than your own. There's room here for all of it.

Reiki is a complementary practice and is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

Season's Blendings: A Holiday Aromatherapy Workshop

Season's Blendings: A Holiday Aromatherapy Workshop

The holidays have a smell. Let's find yours — then bottle it.

Close your eyes and think about the holidays. What do you smell? Maybe it's cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning, a tree just brought in from the cold, or something you can't quite name but instantly recognize.

Join us for an evening exploring the deep connection between scent and memory — and how that connection can transform the way you celebrate (and gift) this season.

In this hands-on, sensory workshop, you'll:

  • Explore your own personal scent memories of the holidays, and discover what's really behind them

  • Experience a curated selection of essential oils tied to the classic scents of the season — think warm spice, evergreen, citrus, and cozy sweetness

  • Learn a few holiday-inspired blends, and make one to take home with you.

Whether you're looking to bring a little more magic into your own celebrations or want inspiration for meaningful, personal gifts this year, you'll leave with a blend (and the know-how) that's entirely your own.

No experience necessary — just an open nose and a little holiday nostalgia.
