No one else will have this blend. That's the point.
Each blend is formulated the way a therapeutic product is — with a documented intake, contraindication review, and a written record. The formulation built with that kind of intention will smell like nothing else you've ever opened: complex, coherent, and alive.
THE APPROACH
Terra Vitae's blends are built by Valentina Fomenko — a NAHA-certified aromatherapist and Terra Vitae's founder. The standard is the same one that governs everything here: substance over trend, honesty over hype, blends designed to be lived with for years.
We only use 100% pure essential and carrier oils, hydrosols, and botanicals along with clean, skin-friendly, hypeallergenic product bases. We do not use or work with any synthetic fragrances. We don't select oils for how they smell together — that's the result, not the starting point. Each oil is chosen for its botanical character, healing properties, energetics, and its documented traditional use. We treat plants as allies in the formulation, not raw material for a fragrance.
THE PROCESS
Online intake 20–30 minutes
A guided intake covering your current rituals, the products already in rotation, and what each moment is actually for. It also screens for pregnancy or nursing, diagnosed skin conditions, known allergies or sensitivities, medications, and respiratory triggers like asthma or scent-related migraines — so the formulation is built safely, not just well. This is where the blend gets its brief.
Bench formulation
Before a single drop is measured, your intake is checked against known contraindications — photosensitizing oils, dermal-limit thresholds, pregnancy-unsafe botanicals, and any medication or condition you've flagged. Only then do we design the blend: each oil chosen for its botanical character and documented traditional use, not just how it smells alongside the others, dosed within recognized safety guidelines (IFRA) for your skin and the way you'll use it.

Follow-up call 15–20 minutes
Your formulation is hand-blended, labelled with a full INCI ingredient list, and shipped. One blend, or a small coordinated set that hands off through the day — a bath for the evening, an oil for after, an inhaler for the commute. Application zone and concentration are set per format.
A written formulation record is kept on file — the exact ratios, the safety checks completed, and the rationale behind each oil — so it can be remade precisely and referenced again at your check-in.
A short call once you've had time to actually live with it — scheduled automatically for about four weeks out, no need to remember to book it. We review how your skin and routine have responded, note anything to adjust, and update your formulation record accordingly.

Two parts: a formulation fee for the work of designing your blend, and a price per format for what you'll actually use.
